Tables & QR codes

Every table has its own QR code that carries a unique, unguessable token.

Creating tables

On Tables & QR codes in the console, add one entry per physical table and give it a label (T-6, Patio 2, and so on). Each new table immediately gets a QR you can display.

Printing

Use Print sheet to get a page of QR codes with labels, then cut and place one on each table. Laminate or use a stand — the code only needs to be scannable.

What a scan does

Scanning opens your menu in the guest’s browser and opens (or re-joins) a session for that table. Multiple guests at the same table share one running tab. No app install, no login for the guest.

Rotating a token

If a code leaks or a printout walks off, use Rotate token on that table. The old QR stops working instantly; print the new one.

Locking a table

Set a table to Locked to take it out of service (deep clean, private event). Scans show “ask a captain” until you unlock it.

Takeaway

There’s a single takeaway link (and QR) per branch, separate from the tables. Guests enter a name and pickup time; a packing charge is added once per takeaway order. Find it on the same page.

Multiple branches

Each branch has its own tables and its own QR tokens. Switch branches with the selector in the console header before adding or printing.
